Vim editor setting — turn off vim auto visual-mode

Vim editor is one of the most popular text editors used in daily script editing.  Here shows how to turn off vim auto visual mode.

  1. Open Vim configuration file: vi ~/.vimrc
  2. Add the line ” set mouse-=a” that allows the mouse enabled all the time.
  3. Now you can enter into “insert” mode by hitting “i”, and copy lines of words outside (Ctrl + C) or inside the text file (just select them by dragging the mouth), and paste after the current cursor position by simple right-click.
